Keeping everyone safe...
To reduce the risk to you and everyone else attending the event, we are asking all attendees and staff to prove their Covid-19 negative status before they access the venue. An NHS text or email confirming you have registered a negative Lateral Flow Test will be requested before entry.
We ask that anyone who is displaying symptoms of Covid-19, has been asked to self-isolate or lives with someone who has Covid-19 symptoms DOES NOT attend* the Music Week Women In Music Awards 2021.
When can I take my Lateral Flow Test for the Music Week Women In Music Awards 2021?
You can take a Lateral Flow Test from 12pm on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 - tests taken before this time will not be valid for entry.
What should attendees do if they have a positive test?
A positive result from a Lateral Flow Test means that it’s likely that you had COVID-19 when the test was done. Attendees and anyone they live with must not attend the event and self-isolate immediately. You are advised to get a home PCR test to confirm their result as soon as possible.
What if I don’t have a smartphone to display my proof of a negative test result on?
Your negative Lateral Flow Test can be emailed to your email address and printed off as a pdf and you can bring the printed copy with you to the event. This is the only form of documentation other than the NHS text or email presented on your mobile device that will be accepted.
I am double vaccinated, can I bring my vaccination card to access the event?
Vaccination cards will not be accepted. Guests must provide proof of a negative lateral flow test within 48 hours of the event and supply a text or email from the NHS confirming your test date and result.
What happens if someone doesn’t show a negative Lateral Flow Test text/ email at the door?
They will be denied entry. An NHS text or email confirming you have registered a negative Lateral Flow Test will be required to enter the 2021 Music Week Women In Music Awards.
